Figuring out just how much physical activity is optimum is a good place to begin. Part of the difficulty you may be perceiving in calculating how much exercise you need to add can be alleviated by breaking down exactly what is meant by &#8220;exercise.&#8221; The US government suggests that adults get no less than two and a half hours of moderate aerobic activity weekly, and participate in strength building activities at least twice each week.  </p>
<p>Fitting over two hours of aerobic exercise into you weekly schedule may seem difficult at first, but keep in mind that &#8220;moderate aerobic activity&#8221; doesn&#8217;t necessarily mean running on a treadmill or attending a spinning class.  It can be something as simple as playing basketball with your children.  Strength building exercises include more than weight lifting.
